SGS Awards ISO 14001:2015 Certification to Thammasat University Library

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001:2015 sets out criteria for an environmental management system. Being certified to this internationally recognized certification demonstrates that the library's Management System has met the global best practices and the university's commitment to reduce its impact on the environment.
Attaining the ISO 14001:2015 certification enables the university to apply a management system that allows for continual improvement and demonstrates the university's ability to conform to customer, statutory and regulatory environmental requirements. The certification also illustrates to stakeholders the university's commitment to excellence, sustainability, and environmental responsibilities.
Established in 1934, the same year the university was found. the library is Thammasat's first library, and is under control of the Office of the Rector.
