Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a methodology for identifying failure modes; determining their effect; and developing measures to mitigate the failures.

As one of the main problem-solving tools, FMEA is employed by major industries including automotive industry - a continuing growth sector that drives the Thai economy.

Organized in Bangkok on February, the seminar provided first-hand knowledge of FMEA and update on key changes made to AIAG - VDA FMEIA, enabling the participants to grasp the importance and benefits of FMEA: facilitating quality control management system, improving image and market

competitiveness of an organization by identifying all potential failures in design and process, as well as improving team collaboration in developing countermeasures and managing associated risks, and ensuring that the manufacturing products are fit for their intended use.
