Background: Back in 2019, the Codex food hygiene committee (CCFH) began deliberations regarding the revision of the Codex General Principles of Food Hygiene (GPFH) and its HACCP Annex. The revised version was approved in November 2020. GPFH is a basis for all food safety control systems and food safety policy in general.
